The cable car to Kasprowy Wierch is the Poland's only alpine cable line. The ride to the summit of Kasprowy covers 4,291.59 meters, but with us it takes only a few minutes – the wagons can carry up to 60 people at a time in winter, and 32 in summer.
The journey over the Tatra valleys is rich in stunning views and provides memorable experiences. The upper station is located at 1,959 m (only 26 meters below the summit of Kasprowy) and, together with the Meteorological Observatory belongs to the highest-located buildings in Poland.

At the top of Kasprowy you can admire breathtaking mountain views – Kasprowy is located almost centrally in the middle of the Tatra range. You can also start hiking at the summit – the yellow trail brings tourists from there to the Hala Gąsienicowa; the red ridge trail leads east through the peaks of Beskidy, Skrajna Turnia and Pośrednia Turnia to Świnica, and west – to the Czerwone Wierchy. In winter, Kasprowy provides opportunities for practising some of the most beautiful sports – skiing and snowboarding. In addition to the cable line, there are two chairlifts for the skiers in the Gąsienicowy and Goryczkowy Basin. The well-prepared ski slopes and proximity of the mountains attract crowds of skiing enthusiasts. In the Kasprowy area, the PKL prepares for skiers a total of 14 km of ski runs with natural snow. The routes in the Kasprowy area have FIS approvals for competitions.
