We invite you to the 741 m peak, located in the heart of Krynica, and onlooking the promenade. Góra Parkowa is actually one big park – a Spa Park. It is a truly enchanting place, with many beautiful spots, ideal for walking, relaxation and rest. You can reach the top in a cable car. Although the park was created in early nineteenth century, this system of paths and forest alleys has been preserved to this day. Many of them have been renovated, making them accessible and pleasing to the eye.

Gradually discovering Góra Parkowa, you encounter many interesting spots and points of interest, such as ponds with swans and ducks, or nineteenth-century wooden arbours. On the way up, there is a popular place of rest, a forest glade called Polana Michasiowa. There is also a spring called Bocianówka, or “fertility spring”, with a figure representing a small child holding on to the neck of a stork. Another such place is the Kraszewski’s Bench. It was built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the writer's works. The ceremonial unveiling took place on 1 August 1881. At this unique monument there is an inscription: “Zakątek J.I. Kraszewskiego” [Kraszewski’s Corner].

In the Spa Park, you can take a walk with children among the trees, ride a bicycle or play hide and seek. In some parts of the park there are hidden arbours and old chapels – embarking on a quest to find them may be a great idea to spend a summer afternoon! The little ones will certainly enjoy the local pond. Put a bit of bread in your pocket and throw it to the ducks – attracted by the tasty crumbs, they will quickly swim towards you. Among the park trees you will often glimpse a red squirrel tail. It is more than willing to accept peanuts…
