Polish Cableways is also an 80-year-old company and one of the biggest employers in Podhale with over 200 employees. PKL's priority is sustainable development, combining further investments and broadening of the tourist offer while preserving the environment.

PKL currently operates in seven resorts in the Tatras and Beskids: Kasprowy Wierch, Gubałówka, Jaworzyna Krynicka, Góra Parkowa, Mosorny Groń, Palenica and Góra Żar. Each of the resorts has a distinct character, interesting location and unique nationwide attractions:

·         Kasprowy Wierch has the only alpine ski slopes in Poland, with natural snow, where the ski season lasts until May, and PKL cableways are used each year by over five hundred thousand people. At the top railway station, PKL runs the highest restaurant in Poland - LEVEL 1959

·         tourists are taken to Gubałówka by the state-of-the-art cable-funicular way with a glass roof. In winter, you can enjoy the attractions of the Goobaya snowpark at Gubałówka, as well as the beach with sun loungers all year round

·         the main attractions of Jaworzyna Krynicka are the most varied skiing routes with a total length of 8,300 m. Between spring and autumn, these terrains are ideal for mountain bikers.

·         the resort in Mosorny Groń stands out with the beautiful views of Babia Góra and excellent skiing conditions

·         the ambience of Góra Żar consists of the neighboring lakes of Międzybrodzkie and Żywieckie, and the possibility of admiring gliders and paragliders flying over the tourists’ and skiers’ heads,

·         Szczawnica’s Palenica offers magnificent views of the Pieniny and the Tatras both in winter for skiers and in summer for tourists

·         Góra Parkowa will help you go back in time while riding Poland’s first original cable-funicular railway, which is located in the heart of Krynica.

PKL plans to modernize the existing tourist infrastructure and develop an attractive, year-long tourism and recreation offer in a way that builds the value of the company to utilize the potential of the largest tourist areas in Poland.
