The Gąsienicowa Chairlift supports modern four-person chairs. The transport capacity is 2,400 persons per hour, which means there is no waiting time.

The ski run on Gąsienicowa is prepared by snowmaking machines, and used by both classical skiers and snowboarding enthusiasts.

The downhill run covering Kasprowy – Goryczkowa Valley – Kuźnice has over 9,700 m, of which more than 1,200 m run through the Basin, and 8.5 km through the piste. The total difference in height is 940 m. The Basin has a medium level of difficulty, but with favourable snow conditions, the route is available even for unskilled skiers. The downhill run, however, is quite difficult, including the climb from Gąsienicowa to Karczmisko and a few dangerous bends in the region over the Olczyska Valley. But it is definitely worth recommending. The slope has FIS homologation.
