The Goryczkowy Basin double chairlift (apart from the Gąsienicowa chairlift) is the only one in Poland that offers alpine skiing areas with natural snow. The skiing trail covering Kasprowy – Goryczkowa Valley – Kuźnice has more than 5 km, of which 1,770 m run through the basin, and 3.5 km through the piste. The downhill run of the Goryczkowa Valley – Kuźnice covers the lower part of the Kalatówki clearing near the Bystra rivulet.

The height difference is 602.5 m. As opposed to the Gąsienicowa, this route is a bit more difficult in the basin, while the downhill run is short, easy and well-maintained, and normally does not cause problems for skiers. The Goryczkowa line is open only in winter. The slope has FIS homologation. The cable line has been used for transportation since 1968 and is still awaiting its well-deserved modernization, which has been sought by the Polish Cable Lines for several years now. The only reason for the delay is the binding legislation, not technical considerations.
